POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Digital Poster Guidelines
  1. Format & Orientation
  • Posters must be in portrait (vertical) orientation.
  • Posters should be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint.

2. Design, Size & Resolution

  • The GAVIS logo must be included on the poster.
  • Recommended size often follows A0 dimensions (841 mm × 1189 mm) or a similar high-resolution ratio such as 9:16 for screens.
  • Ensure the resolution is high so text and graphics are clear — usually ≥300 dpi or full-screen quality for virtual displays.
  • Use clear, readable fonts and a well-organised layout suitable for digital viewing.

3. Poster Categories

  • Research
  • Technical Paper
  • Case Report

4. Content Structure (Recommended)

  • Title, authors, and affiliations
  • Introduction / background
  • Methods / approach
  • Results
  • Conclusion and impact

5. Evaluation Criteria

Digital posters will be evaluated based on:

  • Layout and design
  • Content quality
  • Delivery / clarity of presentation
  • Results
  • Impact and significance

6. Submission

  • Posters must be uploaded to the GAVIS system together with the abstract (follow abstract submission guideline).

7. Final Submission (Upon Acceptance)

  • Accepted posters must be saved and submitted as a high-resolution image file (e.g., PNG or JPEG).

8. Presentation Attendance

  • Presenters must be present during the poster presentation slot to discuss their work with attendees and judges.
